Day 4. Why does Cancer metastasize? (pronounced as Me-TAS-ta-size)
Researchers can't predict who will get metastatic disease, but they're working on the answers. Early detection is important, but it is not a cure and does not guarantee MBC will not occur in the future.
Because the person with MBC has really horrible luck? The stars are out of alignment? The person has lived a bad life and this is payback? Nope. I have lived a blessed life...a place to live, healthy, happy children who have grown into really neat people, a good job, someone who loves me AND who loves to cook (win win!)...I laugh way more than I cry!
Hopefully, the answers will be found soon! I would love for my children to not have that worry.
