Road trip!

Friend and I took our (what is now) annual trip to the shore yesterday! Normally we go in May before Memorial Day and the start of the season, but her daughter will be in from France the first weekend, my OBX trip kills the following 2 weekends and that leaves Memorial Day weekend. Yesterday it was and it was a perfect day for the beach!

Where we set up on the beach was not crowded, although there were lots of walkers, but the boardwalk (and the beach in front of it) was packed! The waves were stronger than we've seen before and I'm not gonna lie...

I love the sea gulls. Don't worry, I have plenty more pictures of them.
