Wrapping it up

I've subjected the internet to a little over 2 weeks of Outer Banks photos. I'll end with these (although there might be stragglers here and there). Believe it or not, I took fewer photos on this trip than I would have in the past. I still came home with plenty.
My absolute favorite shots out of all of them? These 2 images of what I'm pretty sure are eastern willets. I just love them.

Can't say why - I got many, many shots I really like. It's like when I see a painting I really like (or dislike). I can't tell you why it pleases me. It just does. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

I really used the word "like" a lot up there, didn't I?
