I was being followed!

And the follower was a gray catbird! You've heard the expression about curiosity and the cat? Apparently it also applies to catbirds. The Cornell ornithology website says they are secretive, but this is not the first time I've enjoyed this type of behavior from this bird. They enjoy heavy vegetation and the protection it provides but can't seem to resist hopping along through the brush as I go.
I really am a cat lady.
