Fishing in the Land of the Lost

Looking at photos, this place strikes me as another planet or other-worldly place*. In real time, it was just beautiful and not at all creepy.

And who knew you could fish for perch like this?** And the rods used weren't the heavy duty kind we saw in the Outer Banks. 

And I won't lie...this fishing looks as fun to me as the fishing done here at home. I don't get the appeal - but the scenery is gorgeous!

*     I have never been on another planet or in a space-time vortex.
