Mother's Day

It was a good one! In addition to getting to spend time with the babies* (they always will be!), it was a positively gorgeous day! It was so nice to finally see blue sky and puffy white clouds after gray skies for what seemed like forever. Or a week.

I took advantage of the weather to get a nice walk in, visiting Kirby Park, where the dogwoods still have a nice bloom on. Softball has started, too, making it really feel like winter is over!

*I am incredibly lucky  to be able to spend a lot of time with my kids. Mother's Day is just the day that they bring cake when they come. And it was very good cake!
