The pond

Took a walk around the park last evening.  I saw loads of runners and more than a few people fishing.  I am not sure I understand the draw of either activity.

Running.  You do just that - run.  A long way.  Honestly, have you ever seen a runner that looks like he/she is having fun?

Fishing.  You throw a line out and wait.  Waiting, waiting.  Wait some more.  Maybe something will bite.  And then it gets thrown back in, because surely no one eats what they catch in the pond (and river?)?

Plus, WORMS.  Ew.
