Bone dry

My first visit to the Francis E. Walter dam was in August of last year. I had heard about the pretty sunrises from people who fish nearby. I wasn't disappointed. Also, never having been there, I was impressed with the size of the place. There was a LOT of water.

We went back on Sunday morning. Just missed the pretty sunrise, but unlike last August, we were able to drive from one side of the reservoir to the other. The water level is really, really low. Maybe that's normal. I'll get the scoop from the fishermen friends and head back out when things thaw.
