Rock bottom

This time of year, the trees along the river drop leaves that float down to the water. From there, some drift away downriver and others eventually end up on the river bottom, weighed down by silt. It's easy to be mesmerized by the leaves floating through the air. It would make a wonderful photo! Alas, that's easier said than done and I settle for catching the leaves that have landed and are floating away.
