New York state of mind

Some folks like to get away,
Take a holiday from the neighborhood.
Hop a flight to Miami Beach or to Hollywood.
But I'm takin' a Greyhound on the Hudson River line.
I'm in a New York state of mind.*

We had a perfect day all around for visiting New York.  The weather was great. And so many things to see!  I wondered throughout the day why I don't visit more, but at the same time, hated the crowds and the fast pace.  I know there are people who thrive on that, but I am not one of them.  We were not as touristy as the people in the picture, but were obviously not New Yorkers - we wore color.

So for the next few days, I will subject the world (or just you few who follow this) to shots from the day. I can hear the "yay!"s already :)
