Totally useless info for the day...

Dragonflies rest with their wings spread.  Damselflies rest with wings parallel to their body, because the wings are hinged.  They are also smaller than dragonflies.  This dragonfly was hanging around a marsh in Michigan.  I see more damselflies at the river here.


The presence of dragonflies and damselflies may be taken as an indication of good ecosystem quality.
