The cold snap before this cold snap

Sunday morning, during the cold front before the warm front before this cold front. It was frosty and sunny, and the river was ice-filled but vapory. I'm not sure how cold it was, but my feet got cold, even with two pairs of socks and they never get cold on my walks (because 2 pairs of socks).

By the following morning, it was 50 degrees, the snow was gone, and there was a lot less ice on the river. Twenty four hours after that, it was 5 degrees below zero.

Mother Nature is such a jokester.
